Advanced AI and statistical modelling

Seven dedicated source models — wind, licensed solar, rooftop solar, dam hydro, run-of-river hydro and market-level aggregates — each with its own feature set and its own retraining cadence. Models are re-optimised continuously as seasons and operations change.

Built for imperfect data

Vynity was built in power systems where data, infrastructure and transparency are still developing. That constraint is now an advantage: the platform performs where standard forecasting tools are hard to deploy, and it does not need a sensor network to start.

Issue-time discipline

Every forecast uses only information that was genuinely knowable at the moment it was issued. Backtests are leakage-audited and run on expanding-window, rolling-origin retraining — the model never sees the future it is being scored against. It is the difference between a number that looks good in a slide and one that survives contact with settlement.

Probabilistic, not just point

Forecasts come with quantiles and confidence bands, so a desk can size a position by conviction and stand aside on the hours that aren't worth calling.
